The hook!

Having changed location from the Isle of Man to Malta and only 4 cold snorkels and 5 warm dives under my belt, I decide to buy a Speargun (Harpoon).


After little research, youtube.com, I decided it looked awesome and quite easy.  So, off I went to a very nice website www.scubadivingstore.co.uk and bought the following:

1 x Cressi Comanche 75 cm

1 x Cressi Gun Bag

1 x Omer Atoll Float

1 x UK Mini Q40 Eled Plus

1 x Maniago Aquatys Dive Knife

1 x Omer Marseilles Belt S/S Buckle

2 x 1KG "D" Weight

1 x Omer Nylon Stringer

1 x Omer Linewinder

Wetsuit, fins, snorkel and mask would cost about £300 which I already had,  So, the above upgrades costing about £300, what you would expect when upgrading to something technical...

Parts were purchased and while waiting I decided to have a look further to see how this alternative form of fishing was done.  Plenty of Youtubes, websites and forums later realised this sport requires alot more thought and strength for these bad ass boy arms!
